Orange-Pineapple Fantasia |
|
2 cups milk
1 ½ cups
buttermilk
1 ½ cups sugar
2 ½ cups orange
juice
1 can (20 ounces)
crushed pineapple, undrained
2 packages (3
ounces each) ladyfingers
Whipped topping
for garnish
Mandarin orange segments for garnish |

In large mixing bowl, combine milk, buttermilk and sugar, blending well.
Mix in orange juice and undrained pineapple. Place in freezer until
partially frozen, several hours.
Line bottom and side of 9 x 3-inch springform pan with ladyfinger halves,
split sides up. Stir orange-pineapple mixture. Spoon into ladyfinger-lined
pan. Gently press additional ladyfinger halves, split sides down, onto
top. Cover and freeze several hours or overnight.
Remove side of pan. Garnish with whipped topping and mandarin orange
segments. Serve immediately.
